Narrowing it down.

Today was another in the quest to reduce the number of options from 43 down to 1 or 2. Good times.

It turns out that Grace Cathedral is running a wedding racket similar to a Vegas Drive-through chapel in that we can get married on the two-hour-mark, in one of 4 chapels depending on number of guests, get a set of 5 audio cd's, and broadcast a webcast of the ceremony. Odds are good that there will be some flavor of availability, but I'm still waiting to hear back.

Nikko Hotel San Francisco offers a comprehensive and funky SF wedding experience. Probably a teensy bit pricey, but their fun spreadsheet really makes you want to get in there and limit the guests until it's affordable. Not really the spirit, but you have to make hard choices. Spreadsheet or a room full of loving friends and family. Hmmmm.

The wedding is on!

Hurray! Heather and I got engaged Saturday, November 29th in Vermont.

We've decided on July 3rd, 2004. Not a lot of time for planning, but the holiday weekend should make it easier for all the out of town guests.

More details as they are flushed out...
